GEN Europe launches web service for members

Being a member of GEN Europe is first and foremost about connection: meeting and learning from other communities facing the same challenges, learning from their innovations and sharing in their success. Friendships are forged and projects and collaborations are developed across borders. But as an organisation we also want to give back to our network, our members, identifying ecovillage needs and creating solutions that can be shared and adapted to meet them. And today we're excited to announce a new benefit for GEN Europe member ecovillages: a personalized Ecovillage Website…
Zooming in on our first online General Assembly

As ecovillagers, we value in-person connection: the ability to sense the mood of a room when facilitating, to truly see one another - and of course, to hug your friends! So when Covid-19 forced the cancellation of our General Assembly, we were nervous: would our GA be just one more of the exhausting online meetings we're all becoming so used to? Ecovillage Incubator Training this October

The CLIPS community learning incubator is one of GEN Europe's flagship projects, based on a wealth of ecovillage wisdom: a solution oriented programme to guide community-led projects in their initial steps as well as and for existing initiatives that struggle with problems or simply need revitalisation. We're pleased to say that another round of Erasmus+ funding has been approved for the project, enabling us and our partners across Europe to offer a five-day training in the CLIPS materials and methods - tools for group analysis, facilitation and action planning -…
Create and Connect – a new learning journey

For many years, we've received the same question again and again: "I want to start an ecovillage. What should I do"? That's why we're excited to launch a brand new learning journey to help people take practical steps towards realising their ecovillage dreams. The course fuses together decades of wisdom in ecovillage living…
