Funded volunteering in GEN Europe!

Did our post about volunteering in ecovillages intrigue you? Do you want to get closer to the ecovillage movement? Do you have skills you want to put in service to the regeneration of our planet? If you’re under 30 and resident in an EU country, we have good news – GEN Europe is opening four funded volunteering positions in 2022!

This long-term ESC (European Solidarity Corps) project was designed for 4 enthusiastic young people age 17-30 who are interested in ecovillages and sustainable living, and who want to gain experience and participate in network activities such as communications, organising the European Ecovillage Gathering, and IT tasks as well as in community-building, self-development and work in intercultural teams. The roles are based in our office in the ecovillage of Arterra Bizimodu, Navarra (Spain), so during your months of stay you will get to know the life of a Spanish ecovillage and the European network of ecovillage more broadly.

We’re seeking proactive, enthusiastic, autonomous people who are excited to learn, bring new ideas, and dive into community living. Come and join us!

If you want to know more, read the info sheet and apply by 1st February here

  3. Dear Team,
I got really excited reading your post. Unfortunately I am 32 however, I decided to still write to you in case you would have any opportunity in this project for me in any framework.
I am sending my linkedIN, where you can see I have volunteering experience and I completed a PDC course recently. Also I worked in professional environment in project management and I speak Spanish as I was born in Cuba.
Let me know if you need more hands on the project!
