Rental opportunity: Community house in South of Spain during winter

We share this offer for trusted community members on behalf of Valle de Sensaciones

Rental Opportunity: The “Casa de Resonancia” in Southern Spain is available for rent from mid-October to the end of February. This space is purposefully designed to accommodate community living for a group of 5 to 10 individuals, with the capacity to facilitate group activities for up to 20 people or more. Should additional accommodations be required, there are options available for rent within the surrounding neighborhood.

The house is situated right in the heart of the charming village of Yator, to the south of Granada. With a population of just 60 inhabitants, the village offers an intimate setting where the vibrant social life unfolds right before our windows. Neighbors warmly embrace us into their daily routines and celebrations, and the sounds of their activities are to be heard within the house. That’s why the house is a special opportunity for those interested in getting part of the authentic andalusian community spirit, rooted in a long tradition of collaboration, collective support and common celebration.

Architecturally, the house is designed with an open layout. The ground floor with a kitchen, dining room, and a workshop are seperated, while the upper three floors are interconnected through an open patio adorned with nets that provide a comfortable space to relax suspended in the open air. This design fosters an ongoing sense of community connection; however, finding moments of individual solitude during lively social interactions might prove challenging. Consequently, the house is ideally suited for community explorations and processes, rather than solitary retreats.

The architecture and location of the house align with the principles of the Resonancia Community concept. More information on this concept can be found at http://resonancia.community/
The house has 4 floors with more then 300m² and offers:

  • 4 individual rooms, each equipped with a double bed, a workspace, and a south-facing balcony.
  • 1 individual room featuring a double bed and a patio window.
  • 1 guest room, which includes a library covering topics such as creative green construction, conscious living, conscious love and sexuality, community building.
  • 1 office containing three work-spaces.
  • 2 bathrooms with showers, one also features a double bathtub.
  • 2 kitchens: one designed for communal cooking, and the other intended for individual cooking, as well as beverage preparation.
  • A dining room with a maximum capacity to accommodate 15 people.
  • A spacious 70 m² well-lit area suitable for meetings, yoga sessions, and other activities.
  • A roof terrace covering an area of 30 m².
  • A separate 30 m² workshop space, for crafts and creative activities.
  • Fiber internet
  • Central heating, run efficiently by a wood stove primarily fueled by olive wood.

Rental: 600 € per month.
Extracost per month: 40 € for fiber internet, 70 – 150 € for electricity, 0 – 150 € for heating.

Typically, the house operates in combination with the nearby Valle de Sensaciones, a lush valley where an artistic environment got created for community exploration in nature, what we call an Ecovillage Laboratory. During the stated period, the valley will be occupied by the Radical Fearies, whose activities with focus on queer spirit are open to interested individuals. Participation in their week-long gatherings requires full engagement and integration into their community dynamic.
