Nestled in the picturesque landscape of Sainte Camelle in the south of France, the Oasis Festival recently brought together a diverse community of individuals to celebrate the spirit of ecovillages and sustainable living. The festival, which spanned several days, proved to be a remarkable convergence of workshops, discussions, and artistic performances that touched on themes ranging from personal well-being to economic and political interconnectedness.

At the heart of the Oasis Festival were workshops that delved into the realms of body and emotions. Attendees were invited to participate in immersive experiences such as “playfight,” exploring the physicality of emotions, and engaging in breathwork sessions that facilitated relaxation and self-awareness. The daily festival’s plenary sessions helped to create a commun analyze about our position in society but conversations weren’t limited to theoretical discussions; participants actively explored how to foster harmonious societies through collaborative efforts.

The weather played a dynamic role during the festival, with temperatures ranging from a scorching 42°C to a more temperate 20°C. Despite the climatic fluctuations, attendees persevered and adapted, mirroring the festival’s theme of resilience and adaptability in the face of challenges.

Set against the backdrop of a lush wooded area, Oasis Festival offered attendees musical performances and workshops blended seamlessly, creating an atmosphere of creativity and connection. Participants had the opportunity to engage in a variety of activities, fostering an environment of learning and sharing.

One of the standout aspects of the festival was its exceptional cuisine. The festival organizers curated a culinary experience that emphasized sustainable and locally sourced ingredients. From farm-to-table meals to innovative gastronomic delights, the food offerings at Oasis Festival were as diverse and enriching as the overall experience itself.

The success of the Festival would not have been possible without the support of Sainte Camelle, the Cooperative Oasis as well as the dedicated volunteers who worked tirelessly to ensure a seamless and unforgettable experience for all. The festival truly embodied the spirit of community and collaboration, leaving participants inspired and motivated to continue their journey towards sustainable living…

Music and dance is part of any good festival!
