The new season of GENESIS: Global Ecovillage Network Europe Sustainable Initiatives Support is officially here!
Whether you are just beginning to explore the world of intentional communities, you’re looking to sharpen your facilitation skills, or you’ve recently returned from the Gathering and want to dive deeper into sustainable living, there is a place for you in this year’s program.
Creating and nurturing a thriving community is a beautiful journey, but it comes with its own unique set of challenges. That’s why GEN Europe has gathered the vast experience and expertise from our seasoned ecovillages to create an immersive learning experience. Hosted right within European ecovillages, GENESIS combines hands-on activities with practical training in tools like CLIPS, group dynamics, and collective decision-making.
This season offers three distinct modules, each designed to build upon the last (though you can take them individually!):
🏡 Module 1: Genesis – Community Living Experience
Dates: October 4–11, 2026
Location: Ecovillage Bergen / Land van Aine, Netherlands
Focus: Hands-on exploration of community life, group dynamics, and collective living. Perfect for newcomers!
🗣️ Module 2: Facilitation Training
Dates: January 7–14, 2027
Location: Torri Superiore, Italy
Focus: Group decision-making, conflict resolution, meeting facilitation, and participatory leadership. Ideal for aspiring facilitators.
🛠️ Module 3: CLIPS Training
Dates: March 9–16, 2027
Location: Arterra Bizimodu, Spain
Focus: Advanced CLIPS methodology, community tools for group processes, and collective management. Designed for experienced facilitators engaged in co-creative groups.
Each module includes professional facilitation, all course materials, food, and accommodation at the hosting ecovillage. Plus, participants who attend multiple modules receive progressive discounts on their facilitation fees!
