Open Call for Morning & Evening Activities & Children Programme

We are thrilled to announce the open call for workshops for this year’s European Ecovillage Gathering, taking place July 13-18,2026, at the beautiful Nature Community in Germany.

This year’s Gathering theme is To Dare to Trust: we want to highlight the radical act of choosing to trust in each other and our collective capacity in times of uncertainty. Daring to trust is an act of courage and active hope. 

We are looking for workshops that embody the spirit of radical trust, whether its trust in one another, in the earth, in the more-than-human world, or beyond. Specifically we are looking for the following types of workshops: 

• Morning activities: Yoga, meditation, other forms of mindful body movement, self-development practices, ceremonies, etc.
• Evening activities: Dance, music, singing circle, ceremonies, storytelling, conscious relating practices, etc. 
• Workshops for the Kids & Teens Programme: Workshops specifically designed for children (4 to 11 years old) and/or teenagers (12 to 17 years old). This could be theatre, crafts, arts, games, wilderness and outdoors activities, storytelling, physical activity, forest walk, circus, and much more!

By hosting one (or more) workshops, you’ll receive a free GEN Europe ticket for the Gathering (not including food and accommodation or travel). 

Most importantly, you’ll have the opportunity to join a deeply meaningful and rewarding event where you can connect with your purpose and passion while fostering genuine dialogue, meaningful connections, and a strong sense of community among participants.
