A message from the Fuchsmühle community, a member of GEN Germany
We here at the Fuchsmühle are also deeply shocked by the situation in Gaza! We no longer want to accept how our governments (do not) act and get entangled in complicity! We stand in solidarity with Palestine!
That’s why some of our Fuchsis are taking part in the Global March to Gaza – a worldwide solidarity movement for Palestine.
People from over 50 countries travelled to Egypt in mid-June with the aim of walking together to Rafah, the border crossing between Egypt and Gaza, to send a loud, colourful, peaceful signal for humanity and an end to this violent genocide!
We want to stand up together with all the people for the following:
– immediate and permanent opening of the Rafah border crossing
– safe delivery of humanitarian aid under the autonomy of the UN and humanitarian organisations
– complete withdrawal of the Israeli armed forces from Palestine
– Reconstruction of the Gaza Strip under international supervision
– End of the illegal occupation of Palestine
