Volunteer coordinator, part time work at Charlottendal,  Järna, Sweden

This coming spring four participants between18- 30 years of age with do the European Solidarity Corp volunteering here at Charlottendal, Järna.Sweden.
The place is a 35 ha farm with ca 15 persons living and some sheep and chickens.
The main activity on the farm Is a Waldorf kindergarten (Lilla Bullerbyn) with 30 children.  
Our volunteers are participating with animal care, permaculture gardening, repair and 
doing some building work. With the support of volunteers, we´ve also started a forest garden project
with lots of fruit trees and berry bushes. 

The farm is not self-sufficient, but has an “eco-pedagogic” approach with lots of 
possibilities to learn about nature, agriculture and environmental protection. 
We are part of the GEN, European section of the Global Ecovillage movement.
We are looking for a person who could help coordinate the volunteers, making 
weekly plans, assisting work and help develop new projects. 
The person needs to have a basic understanding of farm work and a good organizing 
capacity. 
We also have the opportunity to take part in other Erasmus + projects. Coming 
summer, the GEN gathering will be at Ängsbacka, Värmland and we plan to have
our team assist the gathering.
Järna houses the Scandianvian Walldorf center. Our volunteers often connect to
students of the YIP, the Youth Initiative Program, https://yip.se/ and we have
arranged different activities with “YIPies” during the years.  
Our NGO, Transition Järna is also connected to the ESC volunteers at Nibble farm. 
We can offer food and accommodation here at the farm, often shared lunch meals with volunteers, together with part time allowances
