Webinar: Rethinking Housing for People and the Planet
As part of the SURE – Sustainable and Resilient Communities initiative, they invite participants to an open online gathering dedicated to sustainable housing, regenerative living, and community‑led rural innovation. The event is also part of the New European Bauhaus Festival as an official satellite event.
Through the Smart Village Network, the organisers aim to create space for learning, exchanging ideas, and discovering inspiring local initiatives from across Europe. The session brings together people who care about resilient rural communities, sustainable ways of living, and new approaches to shaping the future of villages and towns.
What they will explore
- What connects Earthship buildings, the New European Bauhaus, and the revival of rural communities
- How architecture can help rebuild not only houses, but also community life
- Practical examples of regenerative living and sustainable building practices across Europe
Featured stories
Participants will hear two inspiring presentations:
