ARIANNA PERRY-MOORE
MY LIFE JOURNEY SO FAR.
Since I was a child, I have had a call towards healing. Wanting to heal human bodies drew me towards science, and a realisation of the interconnection between humans and the greater body of our Earth pulled me towards environmental science. In striving to find my way, I have walked two parallel paths of work in environmental science, and in spirituality & personal development. I have worked with climate activism, water management, and teaching yoga. This journey has taken me through several states in the US, working in the desert of Arizona, studying in Vienna, and eventually Copenhagen where I have discovered community in a myriad of ways.
My path forward seeks to integrate care and restoration of our Mother Earth while restoring balance to the relations of humanity, bringing together the wisdom of science and spirituality – acting in integrity and love and compassion.
WHY I APPLIED FOR AN ESC WITH GEN?
Of all the efforts I’ve seen being put towards reshaping a more harmonious way for humans to exist on this planet, I sense the most aliveness, passion, and authenticity in the community and knowledge sharing of the Global Ecovillage Network. I long to learn how to support community development and thriving, as well as go deeper into my experience of community living.
MY ROLE
I will be supporting Fanny and Dario on the projects team, both through stepping into roles with larger projects (ECOLISE), supporting the planning of training to take place at Arterra (ELTSY), and researching partnerships and openings for new projects.
MY DREAM
A future where we can be whole and balanced humans, bringing our full selves to what we do. Embodying our belonging to nature and interbeing with each other.
