Ecovillage Network Manual

The “Launch & Thrive” handbook is a guide for the establishment and development of national
ecovillage networks. It is based on the experiences of European ecovillage networks and describes best
practices and lessons learnt from existing networks. The aim is to inspire and energise the creation, launch
and flourishing of national networks.

Establishing a national network requires the transformation of an informal network into an organisation
to create a more stable support structure.

This guide provides guiding questions for each stage of the process to support the creation and
growth of national networks. It summarises the different aspects and provides a list of guiding questions
that can be used to both analyse and guide the steps to be taken.
