Children’s Programme Open Call
We are thrilled to announce the call for space-holders for this year’s Ecovillage Gathering Children’s Programme! Our mission is to weave an inspiring and co-created experience for the youngest members of our community, and we need your unique talents and energy to make this happen.
At the heart of our Children’s Programme is the principle of co-creation. The children themselves will be in charge of designing their activities and experiences in collaboration with adults, choosing from a list of diverse offerings. They will have full autonomy over the time they wish to spend with the Children’s Programme, empowering them to shape their own magical journey. To make this possible, we need your help!
Join Us in Creating a BODY MIND SOUL Framework
We are excited to continue putting young life at the center of the gathering. This year, we invite you to contribute to our BODY MIND SOUL framework, encouraging mentorship and mutual care for our youngest ecovillagers.
- Body: Movement, sports, games, and more.
- Mind: Group building, scavenger hunts, problem-solving, crafts, etc.
- Soul: Storytelling, art, bushcraft, and other soul-nourishing activities.
Share Your Gifts
We all bring precious talents and skills with us and have so much to offer to our youngest community members. Whether you are an expert in storytelling, a master of crafts, or passionate about outdoor games, we welcome you to share your gifts!
When submitting your proposal, please specify which age group you would like to reach. Be mindful that the Children’s Programme aims to work with a wide range of ages, from toddlers to teenagers.
Important Information Before Submitting
Duration of Workshops/Contributions
- Workshop slots can vary from 1 hour to 2 hours.
- You can offer your activities as a one-time event or repeatedly every day.
Time of the Workshops/Contributions
- The main workshop programme will be scheduled around 10:00 – 12:00 each day.
- Additional workshops and performances/contributions will also be placed in the early mornings (approx. 7:00 – 8:00) and evenings (approx. 20:00 – 22:00).
Contributor Agreements
These agreements are designed to ensure that everyone feels safe and supported during the gathering. We ask that you be aware of these guidelines and hold space with kindness, creating a nurturing environment for all participants.
What We Offer
As a thank you for your contribution to the Gathering, we offer:
- A discounted GEN Europe Gathering Ticket (Programme only). Maximum final price: 80€.
- 20% discount on food and accommodation in your own tent with Ängsbacka.
Discount codes for the above will be sent to you if you are offered a space in the programme.
