Silet Steps in the Valley of Damanhur – second edition

A walk to visit and connect with Valchiusella — the region with the highest density of intentional communities in Italy. Relationship, community in motion, silence and nature.  A unique journey through an Alpine valley of lush forests, crystal-clear streams, and extraordinary human experiments. Second edition.

The communities of Damanhur and Valchiusella have a deeply international soul: their members come not only from Italy but from all over the world. Among our stops, we will visit Villaggio del Cuore, a budding international ecovillage open to volunteers and new members, and Terramica, a German community that has made this valley its home.

Damanhur itself, founded in 1975, is the largest intentional community in Europe.

Available as two independent legs (July 1–5 / July 5–9) or as a full nine-day journey.
