Ecovillage events

We run online and in-person events throughout the year for our members and the general public. Our main events for members are our General Assembly every summer, and National Networks meeting in winter. Our annual festival of ecovillages, the European Ecovillage Gathering, welcomes hundreds of participants from all around the world every year.

Ecovillages around Europe also regularly run gatherings, volunteering weeks, retreats, seminars and more. Find out what’s on in an ecovillage near you!

The European Ecovillage Gathering

Every summer, hundreds of people from all around the world gather in a European ecovillage to learn, connect, dance, network, sing, reflect, and explore ecovillage culture together. The Gathering is a co-created event with inspiring speakers and workshop leaders from around the network offering practices, tools and insights from all aspects of regeneration: community-building, foraging, yoga, governance, alternative economics…

The Gathering is for everyone, from lifelong communitarians to those who are just discovering ecovillages for the first time. It’s a family-friendly event brimming with creativity and fun, and all are welcome. Make sure you sign up to our newsletter to ensure you don’t miss the next event!
