We are a unified friendly community consisting of over 60 ecovillages around Ukraine. We have succeeded in bringing environmental lifestyle and the latest innovations together. Now we and our children together confidently advance in sustainable development to meet a wonderful future of our country!

About

GEN Ukraine is a inspiring example of how we can work together in times of crisis. Together with ‘Permaculture in Ukraine’, the GEN Ukraine started the project “The Green Road of Ecovillages” on the second day of the full-scale invasion on 25/02/2022. These organisations joined forces, mobilized their networks (one of ecovillages and one of permaculture centers), and created a map of locations ready to accommodate people seeking short-term or long-term shelter. In partnership with Global Ecovillage Network Europe, they also created a map of European eco-communities ready to receive Ukrainian refugees.
