VISION: We see a world in which individuals and communities authentically shape their lives from their own strength in a conscious, essentially sustainable and loving way and thereby inspire others.MISSION:We are a Dutch partnership that supports the network of individuals and communities who strive for a sustainable lifestyle.
About
The Netherlands are home to one of Europe’s oldest ecovillages: Hobbitstee was founded in 1969. Today, the Dutch network consists of around 50 ecovillages. Harvesting from the rich history and experience, GEN NL was a co-creator of CLIPS - Community Learning Incubator, an ERASMUS+ project led by GEN Europe. GEN NL is an active web of volunteers who organize themselves sociocratically. Each year, GEN NL organizes two ecovillage network weekends and one festival. They also share a documentary and a webinar every month!
