Communications Working Group
Are you passionate about spreading the word about ecovillages in Europe? Do you have ideas about how we can better connect our members? Are you the one who’s always taking photos at every community event, or bubbling with ideas to write an article afterwards?
If so, this is your chance to connect with like-minded ecovillagers from around Europe, and use your skills to help spread GEN’s message and improve how we connect with our members and the wider world. You’re invited to join our communications working group!
Membership of the group is on a voluntary basis and offers the chance to deepen your involvement GEN-EU and be part of shaping and delivering the European ecovillage movement’s communications strategy.
Creating and disseminating useful and inspiring resources for the network (translations, webinars, videos, articles, podcasts, graphics...) and strategising communications and campaigns for GEN-Europe, spotting opportunities for key moments to promote the work of ecovillages in relevant outlets.
Initially, a monthly online meeting (1-1.5hrs). You may wish to join the “talent pool” to volunteer for one-off projects - for example, as a translator - or become more involved in longer-term or regular activities which would require a higher degree of availability and commitment.
