At GEN Europe we work with a range of partners who share our vision – from NGOs to international institutions, from local networks to global initiatives. Together we build capacity to effect change at every level as part of the global transition to resilience.
GEN Europe regularly receives project funding from the European Union’s Erasmus+ programme, which enables us to run European Solidarity Corps projects, youth exchanges, and trainings in ecovillages.
We also participate in projects funded by the EU Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Programme
GEN Europe is a founding member of ECOLISE – the European Network for Community-Led Initiatives on Climate Change and Sustainability. ECOLISE is encompasses and supports the European community-led movements and networks – from ecovillages to permaculture networks to the Transition movement – that are taking practical action on global challenges, as part of transition to a more resilient society.
As part of our commitment to open source software, we are signatories of the Free Software Foundation Europe’s Public Money Public Code pledge.
We are generously supported by Gaia Trust, a charitable entity supporting sustainability projects around the world.
